The Scout 4G onBoard is an all-in-one connectivity system designed to provide seamless internet connectivity through cellular networks, specifically at 4G speeds.

This system supports both wireless sharing via a built-in hotspot and wired connections through Ethernet. This versatility allows multiple devices to connect to the internet either through Wi-Fi or wired connections.

The system is equipped with a powerful external 4G antenna, which enables internet connectivity to be maintained up to 20 miles from the coast.

The built-in hotspot can handle up to 50 simultaneous Wi-Fi connections with the option to secure the connection by setting a private password, allowing only authorised users to access the shared network.

Users can conveniently manage and control the 4G onBoard system wirelessly using their smartphones, tablets, or laptops. This management interface is accessible through a user-friendly web browser interface.

This 4G onBoard kit includes a professional-grade, high-speed router alongside a 4dB external waterproof 4G antenna.

To activate the system, users need to insert a data-only SIM card (not included). There's also the option to include a second SIM card, adding versatility to the connectivity options.

The Sea-Hub Plus router included in this kit is equipped with advanced Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and industrial-grade networking capabilities.

The router features Dual-SIM capability, making it suitable as a primary or backup internet source. It also provides four Ethernet interfaces for wired connections and supports Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity.

The router is powered by RutOS software, which offers various advanced features for enhanced performance and security. These features include multiple VPN services, a firewall, hotspot capabilities, auto failover, load balancing, SMS control, and support for the Remote Management System (RMS).

Like other Scout products, the RMS functions as a client-server-based system, allowing remote access to the router's configuration and status. This feature is valuable for monitoring historical status changes, device temperature, mobile signal quality, and data usage.
