The Scout Wi-Fi+4G onBoard system is an all-in-one solution designed for internet connectivity on boats.
It seamlessly combines Wi-Fi and cellular networks, offering reliable connections from nearby hotspots and up to 4G speeds from cellular networks. This ensures dependable and high-speed internet access up to 20 miles from the coastline.
The system intelligently switches between Wi-Fi and cellular data to maintain continuous connectivity. It includes a built-in hotspot for up to 50 simultaneous Wi-Fi users, with the option to secure access through a private password.
Manage the system wirelessly using smartphones, tablets, or laptops through an intuitive web browser interface, eliminating the need for additional cables or drivers.
This kit features a professional Sea-Hub plus router, serving as the central hub. It supports Dual-SIM functionality, multiple Ethernet interfaces, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The router's durability and advanced features make it a reliable main and backup internet source, ensuring consistent connections with high data throughput and redundancy.
Included in this kit is a 4dB external waterproof antenna to enhance cellular signal reception and a high-power 10dB external waterproof Wi-Fi antenna to extend hotspot range.
For cellular data, a data-only SIM card is needed (not included), with the option to add a second SIM card for flexibility.
The Sea-Hub plus router is a professional-grade device with Dual-SIM support, multiple Ethernet interfaces, Wi-Fi capabilities, and industrial-grade design. RutOS software equips it with security features like VPN, firewall, hotspot, auto failover, load balancing, SMS control, and RMS support.
The RMS support allows remote management and monitoring of the router, even without a public IP address. This facilitates tracking status changes over time, including device temperature, signal quality, and data usage, ensuring comprehensive oversight and control.
