The Scout Wi-Fi onBoard is an integrated system designed to provide easy access to nearby Wi-Fi hotspots and facilitate internet sharing either wirelessly through a built-in hotspot or via Ethernet connections.
The Scout Wi-Fi onBoard system allows users to connect to nearby Wi-Fi hotspots effortlessly. The system is equipped with a built-in hotspot that can share the connected Wi-Fi signal with multiple devices, both wirelessly and through Ethernet connections.
The system can accommodate up to 50 simultaneous Wi-Fi users, making it suitable for environments with multiple devices. Additionally, it offers security features such as the option to set a private password for the hotspot. This ensures that only authorised users can access the shared Wi-Fi connection.
Users can manage the Wi-Fi onBoard system wirelessly using their smartphones, tablets, or laptops. This is achieved through an intuitive web browser interface that allows users to configure and control various settings.
The system includes a professional high-speed router and a high-powered 10dB external waterproof Wi-Fi antenna. Unlike the cellular-based systems, the Wi-Fi onBoard system operates without requiring a SIM card.
The Scout Sea-Hub Plus router in this kit is a robust professional 4G/LTE Dual SIM cellular router offering advanced support for Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and industrial-grade networking functionality.
The router supports Dual-SIM capabilities, allowing it to function as both a primary and backup internet source. It offers four Ethernet interfaces for wired connections and provides Wi-Fi support for wireless connectivity.
The router is powered by RutOS software, which includes a range of advanced features to enhance its performance and security. These features include multiple VPN services, a firewall, hotspot functionality, automatic failover, load balancing, SMS control, and support for the Remote Management System (RMS).
Similar to other products in the Scout line-up, the RMS operates as a client-server-based system. It enables remote access to the router's configuration and status, even without a public IP address. This remote management capability makes it easy to monitor historical status changes, device temperature, mobile signal quality, and data usage.
